Lol, the funny thing about the Cali weed bill is that the illegal growers were some of the people most AGAINST the bill, because they don't want their profits cut. Combine that with people who don't like weed, think it's bad, w/e, and boom, bill gets shot down.

Yeah you're right, i know a number of people who voted against the legalization of weed for that very reason.
People... just get a damn cannabis card! all ya gotta do is say 'docter my back hurts' even if you have no real reason to smoke pot... just make one up. Although i don't think people should smoke weed without a medicinal purpose.
lol my grandfather voted for the legalization because he's blind in one eye and he takes THC pills to help the pain.

Eh, I don't see weed being legalized anytime soon. Politics and all....the focus is on a shit load of other bills and "issues", so weed's kind of bringing up the rear. And, since Democrats feel like people are starting to pull for them over the Republicans again, I doubt they would try to legalize weed, as they don't want to lose voter support. Sucks, but one can always dream, I suppose.

At least make the growing of Hemp legal, I have seen some really good documentaries on the legalization of weed, ones who don't really want it legal are cartels and politicians hum, wonder y -.- retorical

The anti-legalization group is a funny mixture. You have conservative politicians, religious groups, people who believe that all drugs are dangerous, and then you have the drug cartels and illegal growers themselves, since they'd lose their business and profits.
It goes to show, drugs aren't about the drugs anymore. It's all about profit.

and Deci, we know politicians are getting their pockets lined while it is illegal. Hemp should be legal, it use to be, I have no idea why it is not? It is not a drug.

Should marijuana be legal? Simple answer, no. Marijuana isn't 100% legal anywhere. it's decriminalized.
We should go that route.
